Version 1.0 – last updated 9 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use Stage Cue Live (the “Software”) and when you buy a license or contact us. It has two parts: what the Software does on your computer (very little), and what we do as a seller (the usual customer data).

1. Who is responsible

Sander Arts Muziekdiensten (“we”, “us”) is the controller for the personal data described in part B. You can reach us at info@stagecuelive.com.

Part A – The Software on your computer

2. The Software does not send data to us

Stage Cue Live runs entirely on your own computer and your own network. It does not collect usage statistics, does not use analytics or advertising services, does not check for updates, and does not contact any server to verify your license (license keys are checked offline). We receive nothing from the Software unless you choose to send us something yourself.

3. What the Software stores on your computer

All of this stays in the folder `%LOCALAPPDATA%\StageCueLive` on the computer where the Software is installed, under your control:

– Your setlists, songs, musician names and roles, cue and MIDI/OSC settings.
– The PDF charts you add.
– Your license key and the date your trial started.
– A self-signed security certificate for your local network.
– Log files (kept 14 days) with technical events and error messages.
– Backup files and safety copies, when you create them.

If you put personal data in these files (for example the names of your band members), you are responsible for it as the user of the Software. We cannot see it.

4. What travels across your local network

When you use tablets or other devices, the Software shows cues and charts to them over your own network (WiFi or cable). The Software announces its name on that network so devices can find it. It can also send MIDI or OSC messages to devices at addresses you configure. Nothing is sent to the internet by the Software itself. Anyone who is on the same network and can open the Software’s address can see what a musician’s page shows, so use a network you trust.

5. Data in the tablet’s browser

The pages the Software serves may store small items in the browser of each tablet or computer that opens them, for example whether the menu is pinned, the musician selected on that device, the MIDI output chosen on that device, and a cached copy of the app so it can start offline. This stays on that device. You can remove it by clearing the site data in the browser.

6. Diagnostics files

On the Settings page you can create a diagnostics file. It is created on your computer and contains the version, system and network details, MIDI device names and status, connection settings and recent logs. It does not contain setlists, song titles, musician names, PDF files or your license key. It only reaches us if you send it to us yourself, and then part B applies to it.

Part B – Customers, support and the website

7. What we process and why

– **Name, email address, billing address, company name.** To sell you a license, issue your license key and send invoices. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
– **Payment details and payment status** (handled by our payment provider; we do not see full card numbers). To receive payment and prevent fraud. Legal basis: performing our contract; legal obligation.
– **Invoices and order history.** Bookkeeping and tax rules. Legal basis: legal obligation.
– **The name or reference printed in your license key, and its expiry date.** To keep track of which keys we issued and to send renewal reminders. Legal basis: performing our contract; our legitimate interest in administering licenses.
– **Emails and files you send to support, including diagnostics files.** To answer your question and fix problems. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing support.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions or profiling.

8. Who receives your data

We use service providers who process data on our behalf, for example: for payments, email, website and orders, and for bookkeeping. We have, or will make, agreements with them that require them to protect your data. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.

9. Transfers outside the EEA

If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we make sure an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

10. How long we keep data

– Invoices and payment records: as long as the law requires (in the Netherlands normally 7 years for bookkeeping records).
– Customer and license records: for as long as you hold a license and 2 years afterwards, so we can handle renewals and questions.
– Support emails: 2 years after the matter is closed. Diagnostics files you send us are deleted when the problem is solved.

11. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, in Dutch: AVG) you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy in a usable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@stagecuelive.com. We answer within one month. Some data we must keep by law, and then we cannot delete it earlier.

You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

12. Security

Part A of this policy means most of your data never reaches us. For the data we do hold, we use reasonable technical and organizational measures, such as access control on our accounts and systems and providers who secure their services. No method of storage is perfectly secure, and the Software’s own data is protected only as well as your computer and your network are.

13. Children

The Software and our sales are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

14. Changes

We may update this policy, for example when the Software or our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes that affect you as a customer we will tell you directly.
